วันที่ 13 มิถุนายน 2569 รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ดวงพร ภู่ผะกา อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏราชนครินทร์ มอบหมายให้ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วัชรากร พาหานิชย์ รองอธิการบดี เป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดโครงการเสริมพลังชุมชนในการรับมือการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ กิจกรรมที่ 6 การพัฒนาศักยภาพเยาวชนรองรับและปรับตัวการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ พร้อมด้วย ผศ.ธิดารัตน์ อธิปัญจพงษ์ ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดี โดยโครงการจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 13–14 มิถุนายน 2569 ณ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏราชนครินทร์ อ.บางคล้า จ.ฉะเชิงเทรา
กิจกรรมดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นเพื่อส่งเสริมความรู้ ความเข้าใจ และทักษะให้แก่เยาวชนและครูในการรับมือกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ โดยมีกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับบทบาทของต้นไม้ในการดูดซับและกักเก็บคาร์บอน การวัดขนาดต้นไม้ การคำนวณปริมาณคาร์บอนด้วยวิธีพื้นฐาน และการใช้แอปพลิเคชันเพื่อช่วยในการเรียนรู้
ทั้งนี้ เยาวชนและครูที่เข้าร่วมโครงการจะเป็นแกนนำในการถ่ายทอดความรู้ และขยายผลกิจกรรมในโรงเรียน เพื่อสร้างความตระหนักรู้เกี่ยวกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ การดูแลต้นไม้ และการอนุรักษ์พื้นที่สีเขียวต่อไป โครงการนี้สอดคล้องกับ SDG 13 Climate Action และ SDG 4 Quality Education
RRU Organizes Youth Capacity Development Project on Climate Change Adaptation
On 13 June 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duangporn Phupaka, President of Rajabhat Rajanagarindra University, assigned Asst. Prof. Dr. Watcharakorn Phahanich, Vice President, to preside over the opening ceremony of the Community Empowerment Project for Climate Change Response, Activity 6: Youth Capacity Development for Climate Change Adaptation. The ceremony was also attended by Asst. Prof. Thidarat Atipanjapong, Assistant to the President. The project was held from 13–14 June 2026 at Rajabhat Rajanagarindra University, Bang Khla Campus, Chachoengsao.Assoc.
The activity aimed to enhance knowledge, understanding, and practical skills among students and teachers in responding to climate change. Participants learned about the role of trees in carbon absorption and storage, tree measurement, basic carbon calculation, and the use of a learning application to support the process.
The participating students and teachers are expected to serve as key persons in transferring knowledge and expanding climate change awareness activities in their schools. The project also supports SDG 13: Climate Action and SDG 4: Quality Education.
